Sarreguemines Blue & White Ironstone Tray

£50.00

An antique French ironstone tray by Sarreguemines, decorated with a traditional blue-and-white botanical transferware pattern. The elongated rectangular form was originally used as part of a dressing or washroom set, suitable for holding a comb, soap or other small personal items.

The blue floral decoration sits against a warm white ground, while fine glaze crazing across the surface gives the ironstone its softly aged character. The underside bears a partially legible impressed mark including ‘Fait Main’ and ‘Sarre…’.
